The ultimate tour, named for a reason! All the best bits of Boa Vista in one action packed day. If you're only going to do one tour whilst on Boa this is the tour for you!
Traverse the length of the island from south to north and get photographed (or not if you are camera shy like myself!) on the famous Santa Monica beach, then on to the lesser know but in our opinion even more stunning Varandihna beach with caves, with Red billed tropic birds flying and at the correct times of year turtle nests to see on the beach and whaes jumping in the ocean! .
Next its off in the 4x4 sitting outside if you choose to top up the tan, or in the very comfy inside with one of our wonderful drivers, to soak up the atmosphere of the oldest settlement on the island Povoacao Velha settled in 1620, stop for try of local traditional spirits, refreshmens in a local bar and souvenir shopping should you want it. Then it off to the dunes to the Boa Vistas desert, the impressive Deserto De Viana, where you have the opportunity to try sandboarding.
At our spctacular lunch locaion you can swim in turquise waters and relax at Perola de Chaves a stunning beach bar on one of the most beatiful beaches on the island and enjoy a top class 3 course a la carte lunch with mutiple options and all requirements catered for. They also offer the best cocktails on the island should you care to indulge.
After lunch it's up to the infamous Santa Maria shipwreck on the north coast before we wind our way down to explore the capital Sal Rei to see the local life, see the local port and finish off in the quirky morabeza beach bar with small nibbles.
you can also request a stop off in the childrens charity in the area of deprivation to donate goods or food, also can request to stop at the animal sanctuary to donate and look around.

TOUAREG OR KARAMBOA
We will pick you up from outside the hotel security gates (not outside reception but outside the big arch leading into the main entrance of the hotel complex) at 8am if staying in the Karamboa or 8:45am if staying in the Touareg.
DECAMERON OR IBEROSTAR
We will pick you up from outside the hotel security gates (not outside reception but down the hill to the gate leading into the main entrance of the hotel complex) at 8:05am from the Decameron and at 8:10am from the Iberostar.

*However if the Giggling Gecko Adventures guide decides on the day that you can't swim in the ocean, no matter how strong a swimmer you are if our guide says no swimming please respect their decision, they know the conditions on site and your safety is our priority..
*Some of the beautiful locations we visit involve off road driving over bumpy terrain. Please feel free to inform us if you have a medical condition which you think may hamper your enjoyment of the tour.
*Please note there's a 10% online booking fee on final checkout. To minimise having to pay this 10% fee please drop us an email directly to book this tour rather than using our online booking form.
If you can't make your tour for whatever reason please either call us, drop us an email, send us a text and try to give us at least 24 hours notice if possible. We work on trust and dont take payment until the day, but we have website booking chages to cover even if you dont turn up and as a small family company ask that peope ive us as much notice as possible of any cancellations.
